At 3086 Fitness in Panama City Beach, we form an athletic community that encourages health and fitness. Our box will continuously reach out and help the individual become a more mindful person through excellence in coaching, programming workouts, nutrition and awareness. We encourage all parents, children, senior citizens to enhance their health and their sport through proper workouts. We are grateful to have the opportunity to motivate, inspire and strengthen our community.

We believe all things great begin with a strong foundation. Here at 3086 Fitness that foundation is our family. Our family has experienced various sports including wrestling, football, track, soccer, volleyball, basketball, dance, softball, modeling, gymnastics and cheer. OUR METHODS

Our fitness is the principal strength and conditioning program designed for universal scalability. We scale the load and modify the intensity according to the needs of each individual.

 

The needs of an athlete and the needs of our grandparents differ by degree not by kind. Our military, law enforcement, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regime.

 

So what is “Constantly Varied?”, “Functional Movements”?, and “High Intensity”?

 

“Constantly Varied” means each day you will execute a new workout or WOD (workout of the day). In no particular order, on no particular day, you will perform various Olympic lifts (squats, deadlifts, snatches, cleans, jerks), pushups, pull ups, jump rope, kettle bell swings, row and runs which is specifically designed by 3086 Fitness to work on different muscle groups and cardiovascular strength.

 

“Functional Movement” refers to maintaining the safest, most-efficient position to perform everyday movements such as carrying a bag of groceries, lifting your baby, digging a trench and responding to emergencies that may occur. If you’ve ever lifted a heavy bag of dog food or concrete, no one needs to tell you the importance of proper lifting techniques. Here at 3086 Fitness we will instruct you on the correct position for safety and efficiency.

 

“High Intensity” is a great way to replace the grind of a traditional workout. Through this type of cardio-training you will increase your metabolic conditioning which will allow you to feel and see results. You no longer have to spend hours in a gym. What’s your Fran time?

Gary is certified fitness Level 1 and competes in local and regional competitions including: The Feeding Frenzy, The Pensacola Beach Brawl, The Garage Games No Limits, Fitness Open in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
